Fitness for Rugby Charts
A series of seven charts providing information on fitness training for Rugby Football covering Training for Strength & Power, Flexibility, Endurance, Speed; Nutrition for Rugby, Fitness Assessment, Annual Training Regime. Since the 1990's when the charts were designed, Fitness has become a crucial part in the rugby players make-up as the game is played at a much faster pace and contact fitness has also become very important.
Designed in conjuction Rex Hazeldine, former England and British Lions Team Fitness Adviser, these charts are essential for schools, colleges and clubs playing Rugby. During their design all four home unions: England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland were involved in agreeing the content presented on the the charts. They have been designed to help coaches devise sound and appropriate fitness training programmes.
